Material & Quality
Which resin do you use to print your miniatures?
We print with high-quality, light-cured resin specifically developed for highly detailed miniatures. We ensure a good balance between stability and fine surface textures.
What is the print resolution of your 3D printers?
Our prints are created with a resolution of up to 10 μm (0.01 mm). This allows even the smallest details to be clearly displayed – from fine textures to delicate edges.
How stable or fragile are your figures under normal use?
The resin used is solid, yet remains somewhat flexible, significantly reducing the risk of breakage. Of course, these miniatures aren't toys, but they're perfectly suitable for use on the gaming table.
Are the models completely clean or do I still have to support/deburr them myself?
All figures are carefully cleaned and freed of support structures after printing. In rare cases, minimal residue may remain, but these can be easily removed with a fine cutter or sanding pad.
How does your resin differ in quality from conventional plastic miniatures?
Like many plastics, resin is sensitive to UV radiation. Long-term storage in direct sunlight is not recommended. However, in normal use (e.g., on a shelf or on a gaming table), there are no problems.
Are your miniatures odorless or can there be a chemical smell when unpacking them?
After curing and cleaning, there's barely any odor. Immediately after opening, you may notice a slight resin odor, but this quickly dissipates.
Is each figure checked manually after printing or is it an automated process?
We inspect each miniature by hand before it sets off on its journey. This ensures that nothing is damaged, warped, or defective—because we only ship what we would put on the table ourselves.
Processing & Painting
Do your miniatures come primed or do they arrive raw/unpainted?
All miniatures are delivered unpainted and unprimed. This gives you complete control over their design—whether you want to simply paint them or turn them into true works of art is entirely up to you.
Do I need to clean the miniatures before painting them?
We thoroughly clean the models after printing. However, we recommend briefly rinsing them with soapy water before priming to remove any residue from skin oil or dust. This improves paint adhesion.
Which colors and techniques do you recommend for your resin minis (e.g. Citadel, Vallejo)?
Acrylic paints from brands like Citadel, Vallejo, Army Painter, or Green Stuff World work very well. Depending on your style, you can experiment with classic brush techniques, airbrush, or even oil paints—the resin takes paint very well.
Does paint adhere directly or should I use a primer?
A primer is definitely recommended. It ensures better adhesion and makes fine details more visible, which is especially helpful when painting. Without it, paint may not adhere evenly or may flake off easily.
Which primer is particularly suitable for resin surfaces?
Acrylic or polyurethane-based primers work excellently. Products like Citadel "Chaos Black," Vallejo Surface Primer, or Tamiya sprays have proven effective. It's important to apply a thin layer of primer to preserve details.
Can I also airbrush your miniatures?
Yes, absolutely! The resin is very suitable for airbrush techniques—whether for priming, basecoating, or shading. Just make sure the surface is dust-free beforehand and the paints are well-thinned.
Does the material tolerate washing, dry brushing, and other advanced techniques?
Definitely. The fine level of detail in our miniatures makes them ideal for washes, drybrushing, layering, and other painting techniques. Anyone who enjoys playing with contrasts will have a lot of fun with these miniatures.
Scale & Compatibility
What scales do you currently offer (e.g. 28 mm, 32 mm, 40 mm)?
Most of our miniatures are available in common tabletop scales like 28 mm, 32 mm, or 40 mm. We provide the overall height for all models to help you better estimate how they'll fit on your gaming table.
How do I know which scale fits my game system?
Our measurements generally refer to the character's height. For D&D, Pathfinder, or similar systems, 28–32 mm is often a good choice.
Can I also request special sizes or “Hero Scale” from you?
Partially, yes. We can print some models in a different scale upon request, for example, for dioramas or special projects. Just drop us a line – we'll look into what makes sense both technically and visually.
Are your miniatures compatible with Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or Warhammer?
Yes, many models can be easily integrated into existing systems—be it as player characters, boss monsters, or NPCs. They aren't officially licensed for these games, but their scale and style are very usable.
Can I order figures with or without bases?
As standard, we supply miniatures with a matching base.
Can I have a figure printed in a different scale than the one offered in the shop?
In many cases, yes—especially for larger or neutral models. Just let us know what figure you have in mind and what scale you need it in. We'll then check whether a scale print is technically feasible.
Ordering, Shipping & Support
How long does it take for my order to be printed and shipped?
We typically need 2–5 business days to print and carefully finish your miniatures. The package will then be shipped via DHL, which usually takes 2–4 business days within Germany.
How is the miniature packaged to avoid breakage during shipping?
Each miniature is hand-packed and secured with cushioning material. More delicate pieces receive special attention during packaging to ensure they arrive safely.
What happens if a miniature arrives damaged?
Of course, that shouldn't happen—but if something does break during shipping, please contact us directly with a photo. We'll find a straightforward solution.
Can I combine miniatures to save on shipping costs?
If you order multiple items at once, you'll only be charged one shipping charge. If you place multiple individual orders on the same day, please feel free to drop us a line – we'll combine them if possible.
Is there a tracking number for my order?
Yes, as soon as your package is on its way, you'll automatically receive a tracking email. This way, you can always keep track of your delivery's current status.
Can I change or cancel my order later?
As long as printing hasn't started yet, changes can usually be made without any problems. It's best to contact us via email as soon as possible—the sooner the better.
Do you ship to countries outside of Germany? If so, how long does it take?
We currently ship primarily within Germany. If you would like to order from abroad, please contact us in advance – we will review shipping options individually depending on the country and model.
Why do you only produce to order and have no inventory?
We want to conserve resources and deliver every model with the best possible quality. That's why we only produce after orders are placed—not mass-produced goods, but small batches with attention to detail. This takes some time, but it's worth it.
